Help Reduce the Fear of Falling
We are seeking volunteer coaches to help bring this evidence-based program to our community. A Matter of Balance train the trainer program is March 17th & 24th at the Cook Memorial Library in Tamworth Village, from 10 am to 2 pm, with a light lunch.
“A Matter of Balance” is a proven award-winning program designed to help people manage concerns about falls and increase physical activity. The program emphasizes practical strategies to manage falls.
Dozens of community members have benefited locally from this innovative program since it was launched in 2015. Help us expand the program to more people by becoming a “Matter of Balance” Coach March 17th & 24th at the Cook Memorial Library in Tamworth Village, from 10 am to 2 pm.

The Tamworth Community Nurses Association is having it’s annual fundraising concert this Saturday the 13th starting at 7:00 at the Barnstormers Theater in Tamworth. Tickets at the door.
The line-up includes Doug Hazard as MC and performer, Cormac McCarthy, Lisa Ferguson, Middle Ground, Natalie Hebden, Peggy Johnson and The Starlight Honeys.
